Terms of use.

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of heyhey. Creative, the integration between the Creative App of heyhey. Management GmbH ("heyhey.") and Canva via the Canva Connect API. In addition, Canva's own terms apply to the use of Canva itself (section 6).

3. What heyhey. Creative does

heyhey. Creative is the internal tool of the heyhey. creative team. Members open a Canva design from a content task, edit it in Canva and save the export back to the task as a new version. In detail:

• Connect a Canva account: each member connects their own Canva account in the settings of the Creative App. The connection uses Canva's OAuth 2.0 authorization with PKCE; heyhey. never sees your Canva password.
• Create or link a design: from a content task, a member creates a new design in Canva or links an existing one.
• Open in Canva: the design opens in the Canva editor. Canva's return button leads back to the task.
• Save the export: on request, heyhey. Creative exports the design from Canva and saves the file to the task as a new version.

4. Who may use it

heyhey. Creative is not a public service. Only members of the heyhey. creative team who have access to the heyhey. Creative App may use it. heyhey. grants and withdraws this access; there is no self-registration. A Canva account can only be connected from within the Creative App.

5. Data and permissions

When you connect your Canva account, heyhey. Creative asks Canva for these permissions (scopes) and no others:

• design:meta:read — read a design's metadata: title, edit link and thumbnail
• design:content:read — read a design's content in order to export it
• design:content:write — create new designs

For each connection, heyhey. stores your Canva user ID and team ID, the permissions granted, and the access and refresh tokens. The tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored, are used only by heyhey.'s server to call Canva on your behalf and never reach your browser. For each linked design, heyhey. stores its ID, its title, a copy of its thumbnail and the exported files, as part of the task.

Disconnecting: you can disconnect Canva at any time in the settings of the Creative App. heyhey. Creative then asks Canva to revoke the authorization and deletes the stored tokens. If you remove the app's access in your Canva account instead, Canva no longer accepts the tokens, and heyhey. Creative deletes them the next time it tries to renew them. Designs and versions already saved to a task remain with the task.

6. Your obligations

• Use Canva in accordance with the Canva Terms of Use and, for content from Canva, the Canva Content License Agreement.
• Only use content in designs and tasks for which you or heyhey. hold the necessary rights — images, videos, music, fonts, logos, and content of creators and clients.
• Use heyhey. Creative only for your work for heyhey., and keep your Canva and heyhey. accounts secure.

7. Availability

heyhey. provides heyhey. Creative as an internal tool, free of charge and without any warranty of availability. It depends on Canva's services and the Canva Connect API. heyhey. may change, restrict or discontinue the integration at any time; files already saved to tasks are not affected.

8. Liability

heyhey. is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). In cases of slight negligence, heyhey. is liable only for the breach of an essential obligation — one whose fulfilment makes the proper use of heyhey. Creative possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment users may regularly rely — and only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability is excluded. heyhey. is not responsible for Canva's services; Canva's terms apply to them.

9. Changes to these terms

heyhey. may amend these terms with effect for the future. The version published on this page applies; its date is shown below.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart, Germany.
